“(2) Any person born outside the United States to a U.S. citizen parent or parents who are eligible to transmit citizenship...’

O’s mother was a citizen...thus where ever O was born, he is a natural born citizen. Right? So this issue is closed, according to that!

I think they are saying, but she had to be a certain age for that to take affect or she had to be living in the USA. Fine point here.

No, the issue is not "closed"...read this again:

Nope. She was only 18 when 0 was born and the Hawaii law required the mother to by 19 in order to transfer citizenship. Besides there are questions about him being born in Kenya and his mother just registered his birth in Hawaii after she got back.

NO-—it is more complicated than that.

You missed that "parent or parents who are eligible to transmit citizenship" part. The "parent or parents" goes with "who are eligible", "parent" does not stand on it's own, otherwise the rest would be not be required.

Stanley Ann Dunham-Obama was not so eligible, and BHO Sr was not a citizen of the US at all.
