Eighteen people have been arrested in a state-federal crackdown on sales of illegal cigarettes in the Detroit area. Michigan is considered ripe for cigarettes from other states because the $2-a-pack tax is one of the highest in the country.

Authorities claim Michigan lost $2 million in taxes through the sale of 104,000 cartons of cigarettes. Thomas Brandon of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says illegal tobacco is a "global problem."

The solution is for Congress to withhold funds to states which don't tax cigarettes at least $2/pack. That way, there would be no smugglng from low tax states and therefore no way to get around the tax.

Gee, now President for Life Obama will have to invade not only Oklahoma but also Mexico in order to stop narcoterrorism.
Lots of Okies are gonna get killed when Obie starts to “air-raid villages and attack women and children.”
