I wouldn’t care enough to infringe on someone’s right to kill themselves and their loved ones slowly...except for the fact that I have to smell it. I HATE the smell - it’s toxic. It doesn’t just affect the smoker - it seeps into cars and buildings and hangs on hair and clothes and permeates the area that non-smokers have to breathe - HAVE TO BREATHE. I HATE IT. I hope I haven’t been unclear.
I suggest that you eat beans regularly in order to generate your own personal atmosphere, where you’ll feel more at home.
The truth comes out.
I HATE the smell of cabbage. We should ban that.
I think you hate it. What about other invasions of the senses? I've seen people engaged in behaviors (certain eating behavior is a common one, but there are others) so ugly I could vomit. I've heard people speak with a voice that makes me want to strangle them.
And as for smell, well, I think we've all encountered the individual who through sheer will of presence, invades your olfactory senses to the point of nausea.
Your point is taken. But I think most smokers now are fairly considerate. Essentially, we can only smoke outside, so I think there's room for accommodation.
If the phrase “personal responsibility” makes you defensive, you may be a liberal. And if you’ve ever typed the phrase, “I HATE” (in capital letters, just like that) you might wanta check out DailyKos or Democratic Underground; you just might be one of them.
I quit smoking cigarettes about twenty years ago but I’ll say I love the smell of a just lit cigarette ,except Marlboro’s, especially if they are lit with a match. I don’t miss smoking except during the days first cup of coffee, after a good meal and after some sexual type relations with my wife.
How do you feel about cabbage?
