Yes, he does most of the meal and the rest of us bring the sides. I’m on green bean duty. My mom brings pies. SIL’s parents bring a side dish, etc.

A biscuit base such as Graham crackers in Britain we use digestive biscuits.

Then boiled condensed milk, sliced bananas and fresh cream on top sprinkled with instant coffee and icing (powdered) sugar.

I saw the post where snugs described the banofee pie. I made one and it is so very good. I got a recipe off the internet.

I believe I spelled banofee wrong too. Nothing looks right, when I tried to spell it.

My whole family loves it.

I watched that as well, it is amazing though on opposite of the world we can watch the same thing with just seconds of delay.

We do not celebrate Thanksgiving it is just since being involved in this thread I have joined you all in your celebration.

We have a Harvest Festival in October which nowadays is more a church/school event which has similarities.
