Everything I’ve read seems to indicate that they are Muslim attacks. One report, however, said it could be extremist Hindus.
That being said, we have several Indian acquaintances, who live in the US and who are Muslim. Up until that time I was not aware that about 20 percent of the Indian population is Muslim.
“Greater” India used to include India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The other 2 countries are mainly Muslim but India as you said is about 20% Muslim.
I am suprised CNN has not tried to blame it on Mormons after prop 8.
