Blacks are more socialist than Hispanics ,but it is clear Hispanics will respond to ‘cash in their pocket’ as Obama promised vs capital gains tax cuts which they probably dont know what they are. Hispanics are not in general business owners. In the case of illegals, poor, uneducated, perfect democrat lower class.

Maybe they’ll get the message and follow all of those American dollars back to ‘latino-land’.

It’s not a genetic thing; it is a cultural thing. People from Latin America come from places where freedom is in short supply. They tend to prefer a paternalistic government and don’t mind cronyism — especially the unassimilated ones who came to this country illegally.

Additionally there is a filtering processes of those who choose to leave their countries and come here. Those with successful businesses and professions in Latin America who would be more likely to agree with Republicans are staying behind. The poor who are willing to work menial jobs are the ones coming here. A couple counter examples are the Vietnamese who fled at the end of the war were those most threatened by the communists and were therefore skewed to a higher class and more likely to vote Republican. Indians who come here are more likely looking for professional jobs (medicine, engineering, computer programming) rather than unskilled jobs and are thus also more likely to vote Republican.

Try saying the Pledge Of Allegiance in Espanol just once to an ExPatriot of Puerto Rico....
