Now, there you go, assuming that everyone has your mentality and even assigning heroes to me. I asked you two simple questions and you had to jump ugly. You need to address your hostility issues. SHAME! SHAME!
Yes. You saw it with Clinton, only held a bit in check by a Republican Congress that checked some of his socialist tendencies. - By the end of his 8-year tenure, everyone with any sense was SICK of him - a natural phenomenon.
President Bush is not a halfwit. If anything, he is guilty of being “too nice a guy” and allowing Congress to spend like a drunken sailor. - He has kept us safe for seven years since the weakness of Clinton got us hit on 9/11 in the first place. The World Trade Center disaster affected the economy in a huge way, and he has had to deal with that, along with huge new costs in homeland security measures that had to be set in place to keep the country safe. I do agree, though, that from now on any politician who brags about being a uniter and not a divider and “reaching across the aisle” won’t get a hearing beyond those assertions from me.
During the election, Barr hypocritically attacked McCain's choice of Sarah Palin, and said Palin hadn't been "vetted enough" and didn't have enough "foriegn policy experience". The irony of course, was that Barr's OWN running mate, Wayne, had been "vetted" for the job only a hour before he was selected and was a career Las Vegas TV producer with absolutely nothing to qualify him to be a heatbeat anyway from the Presidency. Wanye said nothing at the time, and neither blasted Obama's lack of experience either.
Barr later realized how stupid it looked to bash Palin's "inexperience" when his running mate was Root, and tried to throw Root under the bus for Congressman Ron Paul. It backfired, because Paul refused the offer to be Barr's running and then specifically the Ron Paul fans NOT to vote for Barr. Apprently they didn't listen to their hero, since Barr got half a million votes and Paul's choice for President got only 150,000 votes.
I’m pretty tired of the lawyer-bashing. I run a small business too. It’s a law firm. A lot of lawyers do the same.
Government is about making and enforcing laws. Lawyers are the experts in this field, which is why so many politicians were trained as lawyers. Of the Presidens, 25 of the 44 (including President-Elect Obama) were lawyers. It’s quite a distinguished list, including: Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Jackson, Polk, Lincoln, McKinley, Taft, Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, and Nixon.
It seems to me that there are far more lawyers in the leadership of the Democratic party than among Republicans. This might explain why Republican candidates seem to have such a hard time communicating their positions, which generally are far more popular than the Democrat’s positions. Lawyers and salespeople study and practice persuasion and argument.

Did you notice that Wayne Allyn Root’s initials spell “WAR”?
Just an observation . . .
Ma’am, you’re projecting again. You’re the one who assumed I needed a bogie man.

Wayne Allyn Root says, “I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knows him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever! ... Nobody recalls him. I’m not exaggerating, I’m not kidding.
Questioner: Were you the exact same class?
Root: Class of ‘83 political science, pre-law Columbia University. You don’t get more exact than that. Never met him in my life, don’t know anyone who ever met him. At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, 20th reunion, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack! Who was he, and five years ago, nobody even knew who he was... the guy who writes the class notes, who’s kind of the, as we say in New York, the macha who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him. Is that not strange? It’s very strange...

It's the economic equivalent of calling a debating opponent Hitler. The third rail of discourse.
Sorry Wayne, you lose.

Nah, I just recognized your venom of lack of reason. I was just wondering who you would direct your anger at next, I guess I am it. Do you often misidentify the sex of individuals or was that supposed to be a slur. I ain’t mad at nobody and will let you return to your misery. You still need to work on that anger, it will eat you up.
I was going to say simply "Well duh!" But it occurs to me we will be lucky if the Obama Presidency is that good.
So do pimps and other con artists generally.
If you didn't have right & wrong drilled out of your pea brains in law school you wouldn't have to rely on "Persuasion and argument" to do your jobs.
Thank you for sharing.
Bob Barr was a non-factor in the election. And look what McCain is doing now. He's going to be Obama's and the Dems yes-man in the Senate. He's going to give the Democrats a veto-proof majority. All the Dems have to do is steal either GA or MN.
Thank you, I appreciate your time.
Started out as a fine anti-0 rant, but I had to jump off when you began dumping on lawyers.
Same here. I don’t know what a `Wayne Root’ is, but he or it can lick my a**.
(I don’t think Wilson or Roosevelt were lawyers; socialists maybe.)
