Yes. Do a keyword search on *links* and you'll get an old thread.

AM, could that thread be updated and linked somewhere where people can see it and use it when posting? I've found it very helpful, but still am uncertain about using it because it's so old.

The copyright restrictions thread is an updated thread, updated by Jim Robinson, by the Lead Moderator and by Admin Moderators. Frankly we've given that link out hundreds of times, we've asked nicely that people follow the copyright guidelines and keep that list bookmarked, that we decided a few years ago to also include it on our Admin Moderator profile page.

The copyright restrictions, if followed by each member of Free Republic, are designed to prevent Jim Robinson from being sued as he has been in the past, and also to keep Free Republic from being shut down.
