And how do you enforce such a silly law?
Does the law require that a gun owner veruify his gun is in his home every 24 or 48 hours so that if it is stolen it can be determined if it is reported in the required time period?
What about second homes, Hunting camps etc where a weapon could be stolen and nopt realized for months after the fact?
What about a sucessful burglary where the victim does not even realize immeidtaley that they have been burglarized?
Government gets sillier and more stupid as the sheeple become more willing to be controlled.

People faced with the inability of inner cities to control the criminal elements in their midst continue to tilt at windmills.
Ther reason crime and gun violence is so prevalent in black communities has to do with the exceptionally high rate of illegitmacy, absent fathers, and a failed school system.
The issue of children having children is something the black community has to deal with itself. It needs to take responsibility for THAT problem and rectify it.
The problem with a miserable school system is in part realted to the above problem - you can’t make a purse out of sow’s ear or turn most kids from parentless environments into scholars - and the stranglehold the Democrat supported NEA has on issues like teacher tenure and school vouchers.
So they should STOP picking on my Second Amendment rights to solve problems they have created and DEAL WITH THEM!!!!
You have to admire the self sustaining nature of liberal solutions to seemingly intractable problems. Blacks constitute nearly 50% of murder victims. Much of the reason for this chaos stems from the legacy of the welfare state created by liberals who are often in league with gun grabbers. That “Great Society” of the 1960’s substituted a welfare check for a father and made a norm of fatherless homes, with a concomitant increase in civillizational breakdown. Thus they posit a “solution” for a problem that they themselves largely created that will make more of us more dependent upon government for the inalienable right of self defense by disarming the law abiding.
Absolutely.
I well remember the days when northern urban Democrats actively recruited unemployed minorites from the south and elsewhere DELIBERATELY with higher welfare payments to get their votes and take over the urban areas. Many of these people were women with children and no father - OR the father remained in the original area so the wife could claim that welfare check.
