While I agree with Prager on some points I think liberal bias is more fundamental. Liberals are elitists by nature and sincerely believe that the vast majority of humanity is simply too dumb to make the “right” choices in their lives. The great unwashed need big government, run by the elites, to wipe every tear, fix every problem and make the “right” decisions in their lives for them. Obama’s comments to the San Francisco leftists about bitter people clinging to their guns and religion epitomizes this attitude.

Liberals in the media believe that we are childlike in our ignorance and must be lead to make the right choices. We see this demonstrated in the condescension that many media type have in their reporting. Remember Walter Cronkheit's famous sign off ..."that's the way it is" as though given the facts we could not make any conclusion ourselves?

Elitists are narcissist! Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objectives. They are focused on one thing alone, and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities like the Truth!
