Jimmah Carter must be so proud of himself for putting Mugabe in power.

Didn’t that country used to be known as Rhodesia, before that idiot Carter became President?

Hopefully it won’t spread to Kenya and Obomba’s family.

We're about to find out come January. We're getting a preview right now.

I think we're in trouble. The half that isn't African was a ditzy cacausian.

Three eminent statesmen representing a group called the Elders, which was established last year to tackle international issues, said Zimbabwe was in a far worse position than previously thought.

The team - the former UN secretary general Kofi Annan, former US president Jimmy Carter and Graça Machel, the rights activist and wife of Nelson Mandela - had planned to visit Zimbabwe last weekend to assess the humanitarian situation but were refused visas by the government. Instead they remained in South Africa talking to aid groups, refugees and civil society leaders.

Have no fear, Zimbabwe! Jimmy Carter's on the case!

There is no solution to Zimbabwe’s problems that doesn’t include the removal of Mugabe and his people.

Either they leave voluntarily, or they do so involuntarily through violent means. The problem with the former idea is finding a country to give Mugabe asylum.

Giving money or goods to Zimbabwe would just extend the people’s suffering there.

Giving money or goods to Zimbabwe would just extend the people’s suffering there.

But, it's the intent of the gesture that matters, not the outcome. Not giving money to them only makes us racist, or more accurately PROVES our racist nature.

Don't you want the world to love us?

Fear not, with Kofi (jack#@@) on the scene, it will be ‘handled’ real quick!

When will Africans STOP propping up bloodthirsty, venal and incompetent losers to control their lives and resources? MAYBE-just MAYBE when the F’n UN and creeps like Kofi STOP lending credibility and status to them.... when the jerks in the UN stop treating these thugs as if they are the political, moral equivalent of duly elected leaders of free national entities!!!!!

The situation in Zimbabwe may soon "implode"

I find it striking how low a society can go and still be functional. What part of outright widespread manmade famine plus gazillion-percent inflation for years does not constitute the country "imploding"?
