Thanks Bush and congress. Your utter refusal to stop spending us more into debt is going to someday come back to haunt this nation. Hope those votes you bought with taxpayer payer was worth it.

He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all."

Bet Russia wouldn't pussyfoot around like America and would drill ANWR immediately.

About $3 trillion of the $10 trillion national debt comes from the entitlement programs, which will continue to grow the national debt. About half of the annual federal budget is spent on the entitlement programs and servicing the debt. I don’t care who is President, the national debt will continue to grow. And these bailouts will hasten the process. We have been living beyond our means for decades and the chickens are coming home to roost.
