I wonder what their ratings would have been over the last eight years if they had covered the Bush family fairly instead of as the drunken frat boy moron and his loose party-animal daughters. I also wonder how their remaining far-left viewers will react when they discover that the Emperor has no clothes. Will that be the final death of the Obama-Media? I hope so.
I don’t know why Newsweek just doesn’t change it’s name to Obamaweek. This week’s edition has Michelle on the cover. This must have set a record for most cover stories of certain politicians. I doubt the Kennedys were covered as much.
And it doesn't stop there. While en route to visit my folks back east, I had a layover in Atlanta, and where do you think the Powers That Be had the flat screen televisions tuned to? Why CNN of course. During one segment, a CNN Infobabe was interviewing this Black female Newsweak reporterette, and they were just gushing over Michelle O., and the 'historic' aspect of being the nation's first Black First Lady.
Now while I do understand that, what truly frosted me about the interview is there was no mention of Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice, and the fact that she, not Michelle Obama broke a significant barrier regarding Black Americans and politics. And while I will not downplay the role of the First Lady, the last time I checked the Secretary of State has done far more for any administration than a President's spouse.
...But then again, it was CNN. And they still wonder why their ratings are in the septic tank.
I was hoping for more of a Brown Recluse motif. She could hide in the basement for four years and I don't have to look at her mug or hear her yappy siren voice.
