Dad Knew Who Killed JFK
Pajamas Media ^ | November 24 | Arieh O'Sullivan

Posted on 11/24/2008 10:55:04 AM PST by AJKauf

On April 7, 1964, a 26-year-old detective in the New Orleans Police Department skipped up the steps into the Old Civil Courts building in New Orleans and presented himself to the Warren Commission investigating the assassination of President Kennedy.

I’d always known my father had been acquainted with Oswald. They had not only grown up half a block away from each other, but had shared homerooms at school. Sitting alphabetically, my old man Fred sat in front of Oswald for years. O’Sullivan next to Oswald.

Sifting through my Dad’s papers I came upon a letter from Jacqueline Kennedy thanking my father for appearing before the commission. It wasn’t something he spoke of often — just a tidbit of information in a life that went on to greater adventures. ...

Where was Bush 41? I believe he was involved in the CIA at the time.

It's easy to look it up. In 1963, he was still a private citizen living in Houston.

He did not get involved in politics until 1964 and then as chairman of the Harris County Republican Party. He was first elected to Congress in 1966. He did not become CIA director until 1976 and served as a 'caretaker' during the Frank Church so-called hearings for less than a year until being replaced by the Carter administration.

No. Along with others, I've been here for years discussing the JFK Assassination with conspiracists who have either very little understanding of the facts in the case, make things up on the spot, go into wild and irrational theories, regurgitate scripted dialogue from the Oliver Stone movie 'JFK', have never shot a firearm in their lives and have no understanding of ballistics, or cannot even comprehend the complexity of evidence information and custody at even the adolescent 'Hardy Boys' mystery novel level.

All you're doing is confusing people with nonsense from learning the truth that Lee Harvey Oswald murdered an American president completely on his own accord. You're way out of your league here and I'm not required to engage every single wildly mistaken conspiracist with a sketchy familiarity of the events of the case as an equal scholar.

So thanks for coming in here and wasting our time by claiming that Jackie's actions prove that a shot came from the front only to retract it later thereby admitting that you really don't know what the hell you're talking about.

"Yeah LBJ left office as the wealthiest President"

Really, really off topic but kind of interesting. For many, many years LBJ controlled all broadcasting in Austin with only a single TV station they owned that carried content, as they wanted, from all three networks.

When they were finally pressured into opening up the market they arranged that any new stations were broadcast on a UHF channel which, at the time, only newer televisions could receive (this was long before cable).

It's no longer an issue but to this day there's only one VHF channel in Austin.

He ran Austin like his personal fiefdom and it hurt Austin for many, many years.

Anyone saying that his head lurches backwards means he was shot from the front has no idea what they’re talking about or is just a conspiracy theorist.

They are also an easy mark for the hustlers who have been making lots of money for the past 45 years selling conspiracy crap.

Hustlers love the ignorant.

Your site is full of crap. Preposterous. It's a mishmash of references from disproven and demonstrably false works of fiction by long-standing conspiracist hacks.

David Lifton? The guy who wrote a 675-page book called 'Best Evidence' and boiled it down in two quick pages to Kennedy's body being switched in the casket inside 'Air Force One' so that alterative surgery could be performed on his wounds to make it appear that he'd only been shot from behind? He's an obvious nut.

You also reference several other works that were written by likewise nuts who flashed a book of fabrications out to capitalize on the release of the Oliver Stone movie JFK.

That's your whole website? Get lost, troll.

Seems I heard or read somewhere that Bush was “involved” with the CIA before he “got involved in politics”. Maybe true, maybe not.

These lone-gunman theorists are usually beyond the reach of reason. I would avoid wasting too much time with this know-it-all.

Why would Oswald put his faith in the Carcano, when he was trained on the infinitely better M-1 Garand?

Because Oswald was a no account loser who couldn't afford an M-1 which probably sold for $200 or more back then, but he could afford $15 for a mail order war surplus Italian Carcano. The Italian government dumped thousands of them on the market in the late 50s, hence they were not expensive.

The bolt-action Carcano was not as sturdy or durable as the semi-automatic M1, but it was every bit as accurate --- and just as deadly. Yes, it was inexpensive, but it was not junk.

“That’s your whole website? Get lost, troll.”

That’s one tiny part of my website, loser. People like you are beyond the reach of reason. Did you read the entire article? I suggest you read the following excerpt very carefully, several times to be sure you understand the full import:

The third annual ASK conference, a major conference on the JFK assassination, was held near Dealey Plaza in Dallas from November 18-21, 1993. Dr. David Mantik, M.D., Ph.D. (physics) of the Peter A. Lake, M.D., Center in Rancho Mirage, California, proved conclusively by optical densitometry analysis that the JFK autopsy X-rays at the National Archives are phony composites. He also showed that a bullet could not have possibly traversed Kennedy’s neck, as the Warren Commission said it did, without also causing major damage to the cervical spine, which it did not. Mantik also found a clear trace of fragments from a second bullet to the brain. As if that weren’t enough, he also found an obvious metal object in the skull X-ray that matched the 6.5 mm bullet Oswald supposedly used, but which the autopsy pathologists swore under oath to be unaware of. Mantik’s five and seven year old children had no trouble finding the bullet fragment, yet three pathologists supposedly didn’t notice it in the X-rays! It was obviously added later to the X-ray in a pathetic attempt to frame Oswald. Mantik’s results, along with many other remarkable revelations, are presented in [Fetzer].

Many other researchers have also shown that the Warren Report is a travesty and that the Report of the HSCA is not much better. Yet dozens of top experts in several fields have received less combined coverage than lawyer and media wonderboy Gerald Posner.

"... How is it that Oswald applies for a job on October 15 which places him in perfect place for a November 22 assassination?"

Ruthie Paine got him this menial labor job after Oswald had been fired from his last one. She felt sorry for Marina Oswald and their new baby and tried to help out by pulling strings with an old friend at the TSBD to get Lee some work.

If you don't believe that, please show your conspiracy chart that shows how this kindly Quaker housewife fits in with the shadowy CIA/KGB/Mafia/LBJ conspiracy puzzle to eliminate Kennedy.

By the way, Ruthie Paine is still very much alive.

Maybe you should ask her how and why she did it. Most conspiracists try to ignore the Paine family entirely because their very presence is a weak link in their fantastic conspiracy theories. To most conspiracists, Oswald just materialized in the 6th floor window of the TSBD, rifle in hand waiting for Kennedy's motorcade to pass by.

I’ll repeat it again for you, loser. Read it this time, then admit you have been fooled all this time. Yeah, that’ll be the day!

Garbage In, Garbage Out.

That’s what happens when you quote proven flakes and crackpots and use their already debunked “facts” and “theories” as a basis for your website. Don’t worry, you’re not alone, many people don’t have the critical thinking capacity or are just UNWILLING to come to the obvious conclusion that Oswald did it. A conspiracy is much more fun.

What are your thoughts on 9/11, RFK, and MLK? Just curious.

Or how about the fact that Oswald defected to the Soviet Union as a Marine with a security clearance at the height of the Cold War, then came back and was never prosecuted for treason. Just a bit fishy? Naw!

Or how about the fact that no notes or recordings were kept of his interrogation, then he was shot within days. A bit fishy? Naw! Just routine ploice work!

The fishiness of this case just never ends!

So 37 days BEFORE the assassination he gets a job at a perfect place to pick off President Kennedy?

Just circumstance. He happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Oswald wanted to kill 'someone important' to make a name for himself. He tried and damn near succeeded in killing General Walker a few month before. When Kennedy decide on his own that morning not to use the bullet proof bubble top for the limo, his fate was sealed.

Everyone who knew Oswald closely (and there weren't that many) were convinced that he did it on his own. That includes both his wife and his brother.

If JFK hadn’t crossed Oswald’s path he might have tried to kill General Edwin Walker again, or tried to kill JFK somewhere else, he wanted to be somebody.

Watch the documentary in post 75 if you’re interested in Oswald.

It’s called a “crime of opportunity”....and they happen all the time. This one just happened to big and famous.

Oswald was looking to make a name for himself and had already tried to assassinate a ‘celebrity’ (Walker...a right-winger) months before. I bet he about jumped for joy when he read about the parade route and saw his opportunity.

In his narcissistic mind, he probably saw it as Providence.

Yes, it was just luck.

Bad luck...

...but luck nonetheless.
