Media admissions and police state tactics (Birth Cert, Selective Service questions remain)

Consider some remarkable statements from the news media and what they reveal.

Washington Post's ombudsman, Deborah Howell, examined that paper's coverage and found that it tilted in Barack Obama's favor in every measurable way. At least ABC's correspondent, Linda Douglass, had the integrity to leave her day job and actually work for the Obama campaign.

More revealing post-election quotes: MSNBC's pseudo-reporter/analyst Chris Matthews (removed from anchoring convention coverage due to bias), let us know recently that he considers it his "job" to help President-elect Obama "make this thing work." That drew a credulous Joe Scarborough to question if that was really Matthews' idea of his "job," since it had obviously never been his or any journalist's job to make Bush's presidency "work."

Newsweek's Evan Thomas and another reporter remarked about the "creepy cult of personality" surrounding the Obama campaign, and how he seemed aloof, taken with his adored status. Also from the "now they tell us" file, an AP writer: "Even after nearly two years in the spotlight, little is understood about the 47-year-old first-term senator's approach to leadership Personally, he's a bit of an enigma, too."

Similarly, NBC's Tom Brokaw, on the Charlie Rose Show, seemed genuinely astonished and impressed with how "little we know" about Obama.

I guess it would be different for the AP, Brokaw and the rest if we had some institution, some group of professionals dedicated to finding

out stuff about candidates and issues. If only they considered it their duty to inform citizens of newsworthy stories and information, things citizens have a "public's right to know" about anyone running for the highest office. If only they hadn't been pre-occupied with trying to pay hospital employees in Wasilla, Alaska, for any embarrassing tidbits on Gov. Sarah Palin, or chasing down her far-flung college transcripts. If only.

Of course, we do have just that sort of institution, protected by the First Amendment's "freedom of the press," which apparently means the freedom to have favorites. Chris Matthews wants to help President-elect Obama succeed ­ I guess that means helping us to know what he, Matthews, considers helpful to his guy, and not informing us of anything "unhelpful."

Therefore, this column, as well as conservatives in print, radio and the Internet, offers no "honeymoon" from examination and criticism of Obama as his fans would like. Obama insulted one of America's most revered First Ladies ("Nancy Reagan séance"), to deflect attention from his own verbal flub (about talking to "living" presidents). His apology fell flat. He won't deny that he'll seek job-killing tax increases for a teetering economy, refusing responsibility for defending or refuting his own words.

Of course, Obama can't be held accountable for things he wasn't asked, like his actual record as a "community organizer" for ACORN, or his legislative record in Illinois.

The election is over and many issues are just irrelevant ­ except as they relate to how "the One" may actually govern (or "rule" as his spokesperson said on Meet the Press). Therefore, unless someone comes forward to either document or prove that Obama was born in Kenya to his American mother who had not resided in the United States for the required five prior years (canceling U.S. citizenship for her child), it's irrelevant.

However, the "Certificate of Live Birth" document posted on Obama's Web site, which I printed out, is not a hospital-issued document; I also printed out one from the actual hospital, near when Obama was born, for a child born to a military serviceman. Barack's is missing many common items, so folks could be excused for being curious. It's of no importance ultimately; he's elected and the three lawsuits to compel an actual "birth certificate" will come to naught, won't they?

Likewise, questions over Obama's draft registration (failure to register is a felony) are unresolved based on the Selective Service System document released in September to retired federal I.C.E. agent, Stephen Coffman. His requested Freedom of Information Act document could arguably be considered a 2008 forgery of a 1980 record from the Chicago-area repository of SSS records. It's probably an "Internet hoax" but, together with Obama's erroneous statement about his draft registration, could fuel speculation.

Finally, folks are reading too much into Obama's statement that "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military. Just because Obama had his lawyers send letters to radio stations in Ohio and Pennsylvania, warning them of trouble with the Federal Communications Commission if they ran ads from the National Rifle Association criticizing Obama

Just because similar letters went out in August, warning station managers against running anti-Obama ads from the American Issues Project, even urging the Justice Department to launch a criminal investigation Just because prosecutors and law-enforcement officials in Missouri vowed to take action against anyone making "character attacks" on Obama

Just because six Ohio state employees used their public resources to dig up dirt on a private citizen, "Joe the Plumber"

Folks, there's no reason to decry "the stench of police state tactics" (Mo. Gov. Matt Blunt), is there?

Questions, Questions, Questions. Obama is going to have to answer them eventually or else he will find himself buried in a hole of speculation.

We all heard similar words while growing up, that your lies will catch up with you. And, after 63 years on this earth, I have seen it happen over and over. Almost everyone who attempts to live a lie, will be exposed sooner or later.

Three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead. Somebody knows the answer to all this, and it will ultimately surface. The only problem is, it may be 8 years from now after the damage has been done.

My main interest in getting to the bottom of the C.O.L.B. is a matter of precedence...if he is not legal, then we've opened the door for Schwartzenegger, Achmahdinijhad, and any other non-natural born person to run our country...which is totally unconstitutional.

"Ahhnold" told us how much of a Republican he was, and how much he disliked "socialism"...but his actions tell a different story. He grew up under socialism, and I think that is the way he thinks. My first wife was German, and she always leaned that way too.

We don't need the precedence set.

A detroit radio station called the Kenyan embassy after the election of Obama. After a lot of trouble they get through to the ambassador of Kenya.

The ambassador of Kenya says that obama was born in Kenya and that his birth place has become a national shrine.

The transcript reads:

Ambassdor Peter Ogego: It would depend on the government. Its already well known.

Here is an abridged Utube version of the the radio interview. So you can hear just the relevant parts.

It can be reasonably pointed out that the DJ was trying to entrap the Ambassador and that the Ambassador fell into his trap.
However, if you listen to the long version of the radio interview --you’ll notice he used the same strategy on two different occasions and the ambassador gently brushed him off.

First, he tried to force the ambassador to sing the Kenyan national anthem. The ambassador referred him to the kenyan website.

Second he tried to push the ambassador into saying something about maybe Kenya becoming the 51st state. Again the ambassador said that Kenya was a sovereign country. ie No.

He used the same technique on the question of Obama’s birth place. This time the ambassador said yes.

Because the ambassador answered no in the two previous examples -- you can't say that the ambassdor was either a fool or ill advised.

Finally, you might ask well doesn't he know that saying Obama is born in Kenya would make trouble for Obama? The answer there is why should he be concerned? He has heard no suggestion in the mainstream media that there might be a problem there. So to say what is already well known--as he says--would be no problem.

The Arnold would have run for president long ago and likely won if he were a "natural born" american. He's not. He's naturalized. So he can't run. And he knows it. (though there were some trial balloons sent up a couple years back about changing the law--that went nowhere.)

Like the Arnold, Obama looks to be a naturalized citizen--but maybe he's not even that.

In any case the supreme court--at Justice Thomas instigation-- is taking up the issue Dec 5

I think most people, (or certainly enough to sink Obama's election), knew about his personal and political corruption. The problem is, Americans in general have chosen the same moral compass that Obama follows, and with that I need say no more. Except this, we won't be suffering from a corrupted, socialist Obama Presidency, we'll be suffering from a corrupted American people who have freely chosen their destiny, evil over good, in exchange for governmental guarantees that hedonism and licentiousness will continue to be protected as a "right", and for the promise of 30 pieces of silver in tax breaks, (ala Judas Iscariot).

Those of us who have maintained their faith in Christ, or have been blessed by Him with eyes that can differentiate truth from lies, darkness from light, right from wrong, have now entered the beginning stages of the era of serious persecution. The times are corrupt and nearly faithless, and ripe for persecutions of all kinds.

Those dim sighted folks who mock Christians who claim that soon microchips will be forcibly implanted into humans to control/monitor our every move, and who mock "conspiracy theories", (as though governments haven't perpetually conspired to control and brutalize their people, from the Pharoahs to the Ceasars, to the Ayatollahs to the Nazis and Soviets), I ask them to read the latest knews coming from the world's largest Democracy, India. There, they have passed legislation to force the implantation of microchips into a certain segment of their population, (those with HIV and/or other serious transmittable disease). And so there it is, all you mockers of Biblical prophecy and of "conspiracy theories". If the biggest Democracy on earth is doing it, bet your boots it will come here soon under the guise of "it's for the health and welfare of the general population". The 'technology' will quickly spread from HIV infected folks to "criminals", and guess who will determine what a 'criminal' is? And once it appears to be having a positive effect on controlling 'those' people, it will become mandatory for children as well, (for their protection from abduction and from "abusive" parents, etc.). Then, it will come to YOU. The technology has been there just waiting for this, now it has begun, under the pretense of "good".

Now, with the deification and election of a shadowy man named Obama, and a world seemingly as mesmerized by this unknown quantity as is this generation of dufus Americans, it's just a matter of a little time for evils of every kind to filter into all civilizations, under the guise of "good". Screw politics, it's time to pray like never before.
