You don't have to read too far down into the comments on that article before the B.S. starts piling on. No matter what you think of G.W., I at least feel he's acted honorably and with the country's best interests at heart during his term. I still have vivid memories of the Sleaze Clinton on Bush's Inauguration day as Slick Willie kept prantzing around Washington refusing to leave town, and the Media's adoration of him. The man who was a total disgrace to the office of president is adored and covered for by the MSM, while Bush has been vilified constantly from well before he was elected. Reporters slight him constantly, referring to him as Mr. Bush, while lying to the American public by covering up or ignoring the blatant treasonous actions of the DemonRATs. Well, now we are going to reap the harvest of lies, deceit and corruption that we may well not survive. God Save America.

Sometimes I think that Bush was despised solely for his Texan accent.

You're not far off. They do think that people from flyover country are intrinsically stupid. It's really not a lot more than that.

....in the last 8 years I was able to:
pay off my mortgage
put my wife and daughter thru graduate school(PhD&MBA)
retire from my job
not get blown up by Muslims
buy the little farm of my dreams with a trout pond
pay off both our cars

I did this on a salary of 60K a year.
Thanks President Bush for creating the environment that made this possible.

So, what’s the problem. You’ve gotten what you want. Why bother to pile on now. Be a good winner.

mr. obama is the figurehead on the front of the ship that’s being captained by mr. imanuel and his friends. IMHO

YHO is dead on. the fuhrer is a stupid, stupid man. He may have street cleverness, but his brain is a vacuous void.

His eminence grise handlers, including ayers, soros and wright, are the ones running this puppet.

I voted for Bush twice. And while he did do some good by and large he has destroyed our conutry, did not defend the US Constitution and betrayed the base of his party.

I could list the various programs and bills he signed and supported but I’m sure you know them by heart.

Bush’s compassionate conservatism is classic double speak that is better stated as “Republican Socialism”

Because of Bush we could not defend against: redistribution of wealth, bigger government, socialist programs, massive aid to other countries, deficit spending.

We’re screwed and our party pushing socialism lite is what has tipped the scale.

In two years you will not be looking at the America we love.

The people get the government they deserve.

I still support Pres. Bush for so much that he did. However, he never would stand up for himself and his decisions. He didn’t defend himself in print, media, or congress, and I’ll never understand it. Ever.

It was either totally inept information management OR part of some strategy that must someday be revealed. In the end it was a strategy that gave the entire government to the democrats...depending on how 2 senate races turn out.

re: poisoned. . . salted

Well put. There is no better explanation.

What saddens me is that they will want to play nice now and we’ll probably just do like we always have and not make it primary goal in life to take back what they’ve taken away the last 8 years.

I think it’s nothing short of a gift from God that America has done as well as it has despite the efforts from every quarter, without and within, to damage us.

The Lefty/MSM has absolutely no ability to govern, simply to oppose. Even when they had their president in power they couldn’t accomplish the simplest things. Look at it now, not a single budget bill passed. First time in history.

With as much respect as I can muster for the whole damned lot of them I say “screw you.” You’ve won, it’s your game now, get off your oppositional asses and do something good for your country.

I pray as hard as I can to overcome the bitterness and hatred I have for those who have fought us so tenaciously for the last 8 years, they aren’t worth having to stand before the judgment throne and own up to a heart of hate that God has warned us must be avoided.

In the Bible, Aaron, or Aaron the Levite, was the brother of Moses. He was the great-grandson of Levi and represented the priestly functions of his tribe, becoming the first High Priest of the Hebrews. While Moses was receiving his education at the Egyptian royal court and during his exile among the Midianites, Aaron and his sister remained with their kinsmen in the eastern border-land of Egypt (Goshen). He there gained a name for eloquent and persuasive speech; so that when the time came for the demand upon the Pharaoh to release Israel from captivity, Aaron became his brother’s "nabi", or spokesman, to his own people and, after their unwillingness to hear, to the Pharaoh himself. He is said to have flourished about 1200 BC (traditionally 1597 BC).

Bush needed his Aaron or a powerful speech adviser. Nuclear isn't that hard to say. Shows stubbornness not necessarily stupidity, but it made him an instant target the moment he said it on the national stage.

Not so fast. He is not even “president elect” yet.

Yeah, and he's actually European-Middle Eastern-African-American.

It is not that far from the point where I will recognize every demoncrat as an enemy of the nation. For every stance they took opposing every action that was good for the nation, so should they receive in exponential return. Despising the Left brings only the desire for obstruction. Hating the Left demands seeking their unconditional destruction.

No problem, if conservative’s don’t admit what Bush really stands for we will be unable to correct what he has done.

If we worship the beast we will get others just like him or worse. Just look at McCain & the O.

Oops! My bad. Foot in mouth disease. Please accept my apologies. I’m flat on my back recuperating from a total hip replacement and simply failed to put your response in its proper place. What can I say, except “so sorry” and dittos to your post. Man I hate it when I make a fool of myself like this. I know, I’ll blame it on the morphine pump. My heart is in my throat when I consider what the next few years has to offer America, but it’s going to be interesting if nothing else. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa!

Here is one writer's analysis of BDS.
I repost it here as a forewarning that all of this manufactured rage and hatred will be redirected toward Gov. Palin if she seeks national office in 2012.
It will be identical. Of course, they will also be true to their sexist natures and try to cast her as a ‘bimbo.’

By the way, it's difficult to find this article on the web anymore. It was posted to a conservative web site that was hacked and shut down by leftists.

The Rage of Impotence

When Amasis went to bed with her he was unable to have intercourse with her, though he had shown no lack of virility with other women. Astonished the king thus addressed his bride, “Woman, you have certainly bewitched me—now therefore be sure you shall perish more miserably than ever woman perished yet.” Ladice protested her innocence, but in vain; Amasis was not softened.
Herodotus, The Persian Wars, Book II, 181

The day had been hot and that heat lasted long into the night. The window was open to let in what cool air there was. An hour or so after falling asleep I was awakened by the shouting of a man out on the street. I got dressed and went outside to determine the cause of the commotion and what I should do, if anything.
The face of the man who was screaming was blood red, apparently from drinking and from the force of his diatribe. His voice was raw and gravelly and probably wouldn’t last much longer, I thought. He wore a flannel shirt, which was unbuttoned to the top of his pot. His chest was also ruddy, not from the shouting but from the frequent, violent slaps he delivered to himself while he raged.
“B——!” he shouted. “You lousy, b——! How dare you do this to me. To me!” He slapped his chest hard. “How dare you do this to me!”
A police cruiser circled the block several times but did not stop. I wondered why the police wouldn’t stop and at least question the man, who appeared deranged and could possibly pose a physical risk to himself or others. Then I realized he was only shouting and that, so far, he was guilty of only being poisoned with a venomous hatred; as yet, he had committed no crime. He had a right to rage, so long as no one called to report him for disturbing the peace.
He paced back and forth in front of an apartment building several blocks away repeating the diatribe, changing it now and then with other invectives, but the message was the same: a woman had either left him, betrayed him, or refused to submit to him, and he realized he was powerless to control her. Thus the only reaction left for him was to abhor her with every ounce of loathing his soul could offer and to vent that hatred publicly.
I sat on the steps to my apartment building and watched him for nearly half an hour. I was amazed that he was able to keep his rage at such a constant boil for so long and wondered what kind of wrong must have been done to him that he would be so filled with hatred. Eventually, I began to see in that hatred the same seed of pathological hatred that the Left in America has for President Bush.
From his own ranting, it was evident that the source of this man’s rage was an inability to control the woman in his life. The source of his rage was impotence.
I was wide awake at this point from the disturbance and from the heat and knew I would not fall back to sleep. So I leaned back against the steps and thought about the man, his rage, and the hatred of the Left and tried to determine its source. After some time, I believe I finally located it.
The source of the hatred is not one of ideological difference. It is above and beyond mere ideology. The source of the hatred is in the spiritual realm. Its seeds are far deeper than ideology and are rooted in the heart of the battle between tyranny and liberty.
For over 30 years the Left has maintained control over the public education system, the media, the entertainment industry, and over the courts. These are four of the six most critical avenues of communication between those who influence, set, and interpret policy and the populace, of the informational input into the mind of the citizen in modern civilization. For over 30 years – one complete generation – the Left has controlled these four avenues of communication. But they have not had complete control over the remaining two avenues of communication: the family and the church.
Of the many complaints leveled against President Bush, nearly all of them can be listed under one of two categories. The first is that he is a cowboy, that he is swaggering around the international community shooting off his six-shooters with no regard for global opinion and without receiving the proper global permission – proper meaning accepted by the Left. In short, he has acted like a strong, traditional father with the instinctive desire to protect his family and the rugged individualism required to act surely and promptly whether that action is popular or not. Part of that cowboy enigma is the traditional notion of masculinity, not the new age masculinity that is best described by the term metrosexual, the type that would only launch a sensitive war against enemies who have slaughtered tens of thousands of innocents in a long-established campaign to bring the world under their sword. The Left has fought a tenacious battle to destroy the traditional role and character of the father, to demonize the concept of the patriarch, and to subvert the notion of masculinity. In short, they have sought to replace strength with timidity and the rugged individual with the docile, consensus-seeking group.
The second category of complaint is that the President is a theocrat, worse that he is a conservative Christian. This complaint traces back to the 2000 debates when he dared to utter the name of Jesus as the individual who had the most profound influence over his life. To the Left, who tends to attack the free exercise of religion viciously, that is heresy. Part and parcel of Leftism is the worship of the State as the source of providence, and they cannot tolerate the populace worshipping a god they can neither see nor control. If they do permit religion, it is of the watered-down, generic world-god type of religion in which no particular religion can be discerned.
For 30 years they have controlled four of the six most critical avenues of communication, of the ideas and information presented to the minds of the American citizen that enable each to form opinion and belief. As a result, America twice elected a symbol of all that coercive power of the Left. America elected the draft-dodging, sit-in protesting, and marijuana smoking hippie that sought to undermine the establishment and who was the living idol of the Left who had conquered the establishment. America had twice expressed that they had submitted to the Left.
The pathological hatred for President Bush is not against him as an individual. He is merely a scapegoat, the Biblical use of which was to laden it symbolically with all the guilt and sin of a city and then lead it by one unknown man to another until it simply disappeared into the wilderness, thus taking the sin and guilt and weakness of its inhabitants with it.
That America dared to vote George W. Bush into office (before the resurrection of patriotism and the duty of national and personal defense that resulted from 9/11) served as prima facie evidence that the Left had been impotent in undermining the propagation of traditional American ideals and values. It also presented them with the threat that they may never be able to control completely any of the avenues of communication so long as the traditional family structure and the church remain intact.
For it is through these two avenues of communication that the most powerful ideals of individual and national character are disseminated. It is in that fertile soil that the seeds are planted and nurtured and blossom into belief and conviction worth defending. And it is these two bloodlines, facilitated through economic and personal liberty, that have made America the great nation she is and one of the most steadfast defenders of good in the ongoing battle between good and evil, between tyranny and liberty.
No, the rage that the American and international Left has for President Bush is not for him as an individual but for the American people who still have love of country, love of family, and who love their God and seek His providence and not that of the State.
The current rage is alarming, but it is also a blessing in disguise. For in it we are able to glimpse into the heart of the slavemaster that would rule us all should the Left win, should they control all six avenues of communication. We are witnessing the rage of their impotence after only one generation, as a result of but two avenues of communication remaining beyond their control.
If they ever were to succeed in implementing their tyranny, we are witnessing, prophetically, only a portion of the rage and vengeance they would unleash upon the populace should we dare not to submit to their desires.

- - - who, in turn, are run by the same old insiders, mostly members of the Council on Foreign Relations, who have run all administrations. All the Presidents Since Wilson have been figureheads only.

Notice that results don’t change when we go from a Iiberal president to a conservative president and back to a liberal president. Notice?
