The bailout was a nasty surprise, to be sure. I wonder if he would have done that midway thru his Presidency?

I don’t think he’d be so cold and callous as to leave behind the bailouts as a Poison Pill for Barack Hussein Obama Dada and his Congress Buddies to have to fix. Still...

Makes for interesting speculation.

Ah yes remember when that the worse thing we had to worry about was another 911, only nuclear or with biologicals?

Those were the days huh?

The collapse of the credit markets and huge companies getting bailouts when they should be going Chapter 11 is far far worse than the probability of living under sharia law.

George Bush should have just done what the public wanted him to do after a year in IRAQ.......surrender.

Then he would be loved by all, he wouldn't have been demonized for 6 1/2 years, there wouldn't have been a movie made with him being assassinated while he was still in office and his approval ratings would be around 50% and I am quite sure this economic malaise that we are in would not have happened at all.
