After the passage of Proposition 8, some are calling for boycotts and firings. Others worry about free speech rights being trampled.

Should there be boycotts, blacklists, firings or de facto shunning of those who supported Proposition 8?

That's the issue consuming many in liberal Hollywood who fought to defeat the initiative banning same-sex marriage and are now reeling with recrimination and dismay. Meanwhile, activists continue to comb donor lists and employ the Internet to expose those who donated money to support the ban.

The perverts are furious that Black voters gave Proposition 8 its margin of victory.

Blacklists are a tool of the left. I suppose anyone who contributed to the Yes on Prop 8 campaign in their eyes should be sent to reeducation camps and have there ability to vote taken away. If that doesn’t work then they need to be exterminated. Wasn’t that some 60’s terrorist idea of how to handle 25 million or so people who didn’t get with their program. But Obama would never be friends or work for or with someone like that so don’t worry.

Fags, once again comparing themselves to black americans
A lot of Blacks really hate that comparison.

They should hate it. It’s not a sin to be black, It is a sin to be gay. Blacks deserved their freedom, gays do not.

Those actors should just keep to acting and stay out of the really important moral issues!

It’s H’weird that portrays queers as non-threatening, victimized, humorous group. It’s reality that proves queers being violent, threatening, abusive monsters.

Blacklists? Gee, gone are the good old days, the golden era, when they only blacklisted communists.

That's the issue consuming many in liberal Hollywood who fought to defeat the initiative

Seems they're wringing their limp wrists at the thought of instituting some fascistic remedies ( going 'brownshirt') on those amongst them who betrayed them and their rump worship agenda. When a minority- (as demonstrated by both the vote and real precentages among the population) caution would be wise before acting.

The courts will hammer out the questions of legalise (as you suggest) but that won't change anything, except the outcome. People will still support 4000 years of tradition over some 'perceived' civil rights violation.

However, should the courts reverse the will of the people, such an outcome could bring with it a backlash such as more gay-bashing. This whole thing reminds me of those guys at the SF Zoo who taunted a tiger and then were attacked (one killed) after the tiger jumped the barrier.

Making the names and cities of those who contributed to the Prop 8 available to the public is just such a stupid move, imo. Some are really pissed off. Should some anti-Prop 8 rogue take it upon himself to go mano-a-fago with the help of the internet, Yellow Pages, and a GPS, things could get dicey. That's my biggest concern.

How’s about we straights boycott those who support prop ATE? E.G. quit going to movies. I did over 30 years ago. Old John Wayne oaters for me. Same with network TV. Other than an occasional 2 1/2 Men and House which are bad enuf, I do NOT subject myself to the filth they call prime time.
