Osage Orange is obviously correct.
There are many Phds who are 'nuts' in every
possible sense of the word.

Now hear this Obama-RomneyBOTs:
Gov. Palin has a run a town and State achieving 80% popularity.

In short, you’re recommending that media portrayals determine GOP candidates.

yeah? and you’re a racist for not voting for Obama and a sexist for not supporting palin

if romney never admitted he was a mormon, I would have never guessed it, based on his support for gays and abortion. Give me a REAL mormon, like those behind Prop 8.

napscoordinator purports to have long-term knowledge
of Romney and his wife over years.

One suspects this must be “BELIEF”, or napscoordinator
is a Romney butler or something one can’t mention in polite
company.

[Why? I am one of the smart ones who would vote for Romney...perhaps you are guilty and passing blame like your girlfriend Sarah.]

Well there you go. Someone who believes they are god, voting for someone else who believes they are god. I hope you enjoy your minority cult status for all it’s worth.

She was governor of a state of only 670,000 people! Jindal and Sanford both have legislative as well as executive experience.

Minority status? We keep picking weak candidates as you perfer and that is what we will be. You were the biggest chearleader for McCain and look what that got us. I believe with the economy the way it is today. Romney would be President elect. So if you want to call me names I don’t care but at least be honest about the economy and who is the better person.

He ran a multi-million dollar company from the ground up. He saved the Olympics. He is the best we have for the economy. As governor he was able to go from a budget deficite to a budget surplus. He might be sketchy on social issues which I don’t believe but it seems you do. He is the Reagan of our times and you are willing to waste it away picking canidates that are weak (McCain) and allowing the Democrats to win. Not a good strategy my friends.

What utter BS from you. You are truly a world class liar.

Can you read? Apparently not.

When Massachusetts' economy was roaring-- Romney busted it,
and got a "C"-rating from the Cato Institute.
And that was even before Romney's fascist socialist RomneyCARE was installed.

Romney also betrayed President Bush. Here are the facts.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

Are you mentally ill?
First, you did not give numbers. You just lie.

Second, everyone knows that Alaska gives money back to the taxpayers from Gov. Palin's efforts -- except you.

Now compare with a Conservative winner:

Alaska House OKs Gas Pipeline Plan for North Slope - July 23, 2008
JUNEAU, Alaska -- Alaska's House of Representatives has approved a company's plan
to pursue a natural gas pipeline that could unlock 4.5 billion cubic feet of gas reserves a day.
Lawmakers in Alaska's House voted to support Gov. Sarah Palin's proposal to award TransCanada Corp.
an exclusive license to pursue federal certification for the 1,715-mile North Slope pipeline.

avacado:

"For anyone interested, go read up on the Alaska Highway Pipeline that Sarah Palin
negotiated to be built by TransCanada Corp. Sarah busted the chops of ExxonMobil,
ConnocoPhillips and BP who had been sitting on their butts for years not wantingbr
to build a much needed gas pipeline coming off the North Slope. In doing so,
this new pipeline will provide the USA with 6%-8% of natural gas needs. Iran, Russia,
and Qatar are in the process of forming a natural gas cartel. Sarah Palin just beat those
three countries in a geopolitical economic war and put the USA on the road
to ensured independence for our natural gas needs.

By your logic, we should nominate George Soros or Warren Buffett because they are great investors...much more successful than Romney.

He saved the olympics by asking for federal aid.

You also can’t tell me that romneycare was fiscally conservative. What else comes to mind during his term...the Big Dig. OK...

“Palin supported and signed into law a $1.5 billion tax increase on oil companies in the form of higher severance taxes. One rule of thumb is that higher taxes cause less investment. Sure enough, State Tax Notes reported (January 7): “After ACES was passed, ConocoPhillips, Alaska’s most active oil exploration company and one of the top three producers, announced it was canceling plans to build a diesel fuel refinery at the Kuparuk oil field. ConocoPhillips blamed the cancellation on passage of ACES [the new tax]. The refinery would have allowed the company to produce low-sulfur diesel fuel onsite for its vehicles and other uses on the North Slope, rather than haul the fuel there from existing refineries.””

Not exactly Reaganesque.

Well said. I have problems with Mormon philosophy, and have no issue with sharing that, in discussions about such.

But with Mitt, it was another m word, moderate, not Mormon, that was his downfall in my eyes. I did not support Huck for the same reason, though he trended a tad more Conservative, and Huck could be considered a religious peer of mine, philosophically speaking. In politics, I vote for the political stance.

A Mormon with a real conservative record would be just fine at this point in time in my book.

Reagan didn’t just govern with conservative principles. He developed a coherent conservative worldview. He didn’t just spout talking points.

Of course, he was a man who lived what he believed. Barack Obama and Barney Frank both have law degrees from Harvard. Is that your idea of a men who have the qualifications to govern because of some fancy degree and a coherent worldview? And what is that platitude of a coherent worldview supposed to mean?

Let's judge Jindal on his record of governing. Forget about the Rhodes scholar. It means less than nothing.
