This may not be a bad idea. Why pay exorbitant union prices to build here when they can do it far cheaper elsewhere? The cars will be cheaper and they will sell more.

Actually if the investments in foreign countries are profitable it makes more sense to put the bailout money there than to invest it here where there is no chance of a profit.

The question though is where does the government get the authority to invest in companies? Is Nancy Pelosi or her good buddy, going to be the next chairman of GM?
