Where do you think Ford cars will come from at our dealers when the unions drive them out of the US. Before they declare bankruptcy, they will spin off all international operations into an independent company, and just file on the US operations. In a year, all the Fords on the lot will be Rio or Sao Palo metal instead of Detroit metal.
That's why I like the Japanese. They extort the Japanese taxpayer and we get great cars.
That is why, as conservatives, we should let Detroit go the way of....Detroit.
By the way, Jorge Bush and Congress have already given 25 billion to the unions and investors. This next 25 billion is a done deal. That's 50 billion to unions and investors.
Based on my cynical how much can you sodomize an American taxpayer until he gets a vague notion that he's not getting a back massage, I think the Unions/Investors/Management can squeeze another 100 billion on top of the already 50 billion that have been put to us.
