400,000? Amazing ~ and your source for that number is?

Excluding Post Office employees, state and federal employed 7,103.000 employees. In the past twelve months new positions have been created in both state and federal government by 5% which amounts to 355,000 jobs.

If we add in the postal employees that figure would soar well over 400,000.

As you can tell when a politico like Obomba says he's all about creating new jobs he's talking about the goobermint, not Briggs and Straton, per se.

Now, another interesting statistic is the disparity between the wage rates paid in private industry and the government. Government rates far overshadow what's left of private industry.
