We should be helping neither. It's not our crews or our property. That's what is different between now and during the time of Jefferson. Back during the Barbary wars, the pirates took US sailors and enslaved them in addition to taking the ships. Since it's Saudi property, it's a Saudi problem. They need to send their marines over to put a stop to it.
