The wear and tear of the state’s U.S. Senate recount began to show Friday, as some counties reported missing ballots and a rising number of challenged ballots frayed nerves among counters and monitors alike.
As of Friday night, Republican Sen. Norm Coleman was hanging on to his whisker-thin lead over Democrat Al Franken. With 64 percent of the 2.9 million ballots recounted, Coleman was ahead by 120 votes, down from 136 at the end of Thursday and from the unofficial lead of 215 signed off on Tuesday by the state Canvassing Board.
The figures represent a compilation of recount data reported to the secretary of state and gathered by the Star Tribune.

COleman might as well just quit now. Save himself the heartache of it being stolen from under his nose and watching his ball less party do nothing.
I agree. Keep in mind they probably already stole 5000 votes prior to election day. Some thug somehwere is likely already in deep doo for coming up short. When it's all over Franken will be ahead by something like 550 votes.
The Republicans had elections stolen when they controlled Congress, and still did nothing. Now they are powerless to do anything with the Democrats in control (Congress is the ultimate judge of the elections).
Really pitiful that Minnesotans allow an election be stolen like this. Where is the public outcry?

Concede, Coleman. The fix is in. You are not allowed to win.
I read the Democrat counties were counted this week. The Republican ones are supposedly next week. I don’t think Franken will catch up.

It doesn’t matter. Coleman is giving up his biggest chunks of votes in “Republican” counties, while gaining 16 in Hennepin. He will not win because it’s not the arrangement this year. Minnesota GOPers need to fight this if it’s to be fought. Otherwise, accept it. Minnesota is a corrupt, liberal state that is no better than Illinois, and the “win” by Franken is in the bag. This “recount” drill is just a show... a charade.

The 3 ringed circus that is to soon be our federal government is a testimony to the retarded unlearned masses. They vote based off what they are told rather than what they discern through their own analysis of the candidates.
Of course there is the legion of dead voters as well.
Minnesota runs a fair and decent election. If coleman loses, it is because he lost. it was a tough year for Rinos, and Coleman is as rino as they come.

ROFL!! Not in “Mee-na-soo-tah.” They prove year in and year out the democrat brand is golden to them.

Don't kid yourself, statistically whats happening should not happen... in a tight 50/50 vote the anomalous ballot should also split about 50/50 not 90% to the dem... when a polling place "finds" 100 misplace ballots and they all are Franken... that pure bs
My good friend who was in the Navy for four years lives just outside St.Paul in St.Cloud, MN. I can’t believe the news and asked him whats the deal and he said he does not know what is up.
If Al Franken is a US Senator becomes a reality I am moving to Canada. I live in Washington so it is not that far.
