I find it peculiar that Obama is furiously putting together his cabinet.
Gee, I wonder why? snicker, snicker.
Why? Every president-elect has done this.
Never before in our history has such an unaccomplished, inexperienced man walked into a set of circumstances like these, and he knows it as well as we do. He needs to hit the ground running fast.
I think it’s easier to put his cabinet together than it would be to actually figure out how to solve the massive problems we have. He can hem and haw and pick and choose, and make it look like he’s actually doing something.
Who else would he have picked? Some low life Chicago pol (OK, besides, Emmanuel)? Some twenty year old from ACORN or the New Party? The guys he shot hoops with at the law firm while he couldn’t decide whether he really wanted to make partner?
He won’t touch anyone serious from Illinois- Governor Blago his admin are in meltdown mode.
