They can’t temper these expectations. When you sell yourself as the Messiah, you shouldn’t be surprised when people expect you to walk on water.

This nothing is setting himself up for the greatest fall of all time. This will get juicy.

Damned right it is! He claimed that the instant he was sure of the nomination the oceans stopped rising and the planet started to heal and people could find jobs etc. Then he told the Denver crowd that he would defeat poverty, disease and climate change.
Want to know why expectations are high, messiah? Look in the mirror. This is going to be the most spectacular failure in the history of America BEFORE the inauguration!
