Other reports are saying ‘slurred words’ and ‘shaking’—could be diabetic seizure or a stroke with those symptoms...hopefully just low blood sugar that can be easily controlled! Maybe he was nervous about the speech and didn’t eat or rest properly prior to giving it...

I'm guessing some type of stroke. My FIL had a very mild one (fortunately) and he said that he felt very strange--almost like he wasn't in his body and he couldn't get the correct words out that he wanted to say. He did not lose consciousness, however. (mild symptoms)

If it was low blood sugar, I would think they could have revived him (unconcious) some what by elevating it at the scene. It certainly sounds very serious. I hope he will be alright.
