She allowed herself to be set up. You would think by now that she would be well aware of the fact that she needs to control what happens when dealing with the press and not to put herself into potentially embarrassing situations like giving an interview in full view of a slaughterhouse. I know that the media full of a bunch of disgusting douche bags, but that’s just all the more reason to exercise extreme caution when engaging in any kind of interaction with them. She should know better.
It was a local affiliate, first of all. What is she supposed to do, keep looking over her shoulder all the time and act paranoid? She is the governor of Alaska who just stepped off the national stage. Is she supposed to refuse every interview now? You’re just not being realistic. It is tradition for her to pardon a turkey.

I think she would cheerfully have given an interview while she was slaughtering the turkeys herself, up to her elbows in blood. Would be instructive to the Dems to see what they are going to get in 4 years.
