I fear it is her "Potatoe" moment.

One amazing thing about Palin is her ability to brush off adversities and come out even stronger. If any of the other “leaders” like Jindal, Huckabee, Pawlenty or Barbour were picked by McCain to be his running mate, their political career will be over by now. They will be called “damaged goods”. But, Palin is going stronger after each misstep or debacle. Mark of a true charismatic leader. She is baptized under fire. The more people slander her, the more popular she becomes.

Now that's an interesting comment. There are many on this forum who have said she has made no missteps or has been involved in any debacles.

I think the vast majority of the public is about to the point of letting her fade into the woodwork for a while. There of course will always be some interest, because she is interesting to a point. But if she were smart, she would quickly do her tell all book and then quietly try to round her support for 2012. That support will show whether she has the underlying support to go forward.
