A quick scan of his bio reveals nothing too alarming. With Obama, I would have expected Calypso Louie as the NSA. At least he picked someone credible. Does anyone know anything about this man which makes him unacceptable?
Seriously no, I don’t see anything alarming about the guy but I do wonder what takes him to the top of the list. After all, Weasley Clark looks good on paper.

I believe he opposed the surge.
But IMO he’s about as good as you can get with Obama. He’s certainly preferable to Clark or McPeak, or someone like Samantha Power.
