Nostrilitis Waxman is perhaps the most loathsome individual in congress. Dingell was a f**king clown too, but at least he understood that the general public didn’t want crippling energy taxes. Here comes enviro-socialism folks.

The silver lining here is that Nostrilitis is sure to overreach very soon, and that should provide Republicans and conservatives with opportunities.

The moderate Dingell has been replaced by the ultra leftwing liberal Waxman. Change you can depend on.

Waxman will want to make the auto industry into a government-run entity, forcing them to make overly priced cars that people won’t want to buy. The triumph of central planning.

If there was EVER a human being who looked like a RAT, and acted like it, it would be Waxman.

Anyone remember “Ratfink” from your youth? That’s Waxman, but not so lovable.

Frikking pointy nosed guy should definitely have whiskers...

Let the ecoNazis of the left overreach. Keep putting in these divisive morons and let’s get the populace fired up bigtime.

At least we can try to enjoy the dummycrats gloat their way into extinction.

Great, put the Enviro-Nazi in charge, just when you need to lift CAFE standards to save the economy.

We must organize to be prepared to react the same way that we did on the amnesty bill.

It’s time to find our allies and to prepare our email lists and phone trees.

(and I wish we could buy our own news outlet)

“The vote places Waxman in charge of a panel with one of the broadest jurisdictions of any congressional committee, responsible for legislative oversight relating to consumer protection, food and drug safety, air quality, energy supply and transmission, telecommunications, and a host of other matters relating to interstate and foreign commerce.”

Your new president, Henry Waxhead. This idiot now has the power to destroy the economy for a generation.

OK, there is a little bit of hysteria around here.

I agree that the election of Waxman to chair is a radical move to the left. Waxman will call hearings to investigate all sorts of things and make a lot of noise. He can help steer legislation through the committee and help certain legislation get to the floor.

But remember, nothing happens unless they get a majority of votes in the House where lots of Blue Dogs will defect from far left legislation.....hopefully.

Our battles MUST take place on the floor of the House. We would waste time and resources to fight the liberals in committee where they are strong.

The 122 Dims who voted to keep Dingell instead of go with the environmentalist whacko greenie, Waxman had better watch their back for Nazzi Pelosi. They are changing rules that the Dims have used for years by taking the job from the person with the longest tenure (Dingbat) and going with the nutjob Waxman.

Republicans had better stand up to these nuts or we will be back paying $4+ for gas by year-end 2009 with most of the increase tied to taxes for environmentalist causes.

Who ever thought that a congressman who has supported universal nationalized health care would be considered too conservative. Dingell is now a "conservative" democrat.

As far as Waxman goes, he represents everything I don't like about todays democratic party - the party that most of family belonged to at one time before it became the party of abortion on demand, global warming, and trust fund babies.
