Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, his counterparts in 12 states and regional leaders from four other countries signed a declaration Wednesday pledging to work together to combat global warming, a move Schwarzenegger said will help push heads of state to curb their nations' greenhouse gas emissions.
The document was signed on the last day of an international climate summit organized by the California governor, who hopes the two-day event will inform U.N. negotiations in Poland next month on a new global climate treaty that is to be completed by the end of next year.
"We have to draw people into the debate," Schwarzenegger said during an interview Wednesday with The Associated Press. "We have no choice. In the end, we are going to destroy the world" if greenhouse gases are not reduced.

Arnie would be better off balancing the state budget driven tens of billions into the red because of welfare services to illegal aliens.

He’s going international any way he can because he can’t be president. As for the illegals, well, they’re his subjects laong with the rest of the state’s citizens.

The planet will survive, it has for billions of years. It should be humans that should be the main focus. We’re the ones most at risk.

The environazis, with the help of the sierra club, are attempting to classify CO2 (carbon dioxide) as a pollutant.
CO2 is what the plants breathe. They exhale oxygen.
Exactly the opposite of human CO2 emissions, which we exhale.
Classification of CO2 as a pollutant will collapse every economy. We have to stop the madness.
A good bumper sticker “YOUR VEGETABLES NEED CO2” for all the vegans pushing this crazy crap.

Yeah, the last two days have been cold ones, for sure! Broke out some of the winter gear yesterday. Global warming? Not here!
Why is it that the same people who said that the Bush administration opposed science in making policies such as the policy on stem cell research, are themselves not considering the entire body of scientific research on global warming???????
Is the bottom line that, if one supports a politically correct cause, then the science doesn’t matter, but if the cause is not politically correct, then you say that those supporting the opposing position don’t support the science on the subject???????
