I started boycotting GM when I found out how much they supported Obama and that they paid for the round the clock Obama election channel of MSNBC.

I was at HomeDepot in the electrical section. I wanted to buy a 50ft telephone line. They were all GM. I put it back on the shelf and went to Lowes.

I know. What I bought was probably made in China, but I needed the cord, and GM is at the top of my SOL list.

I started boycotting GM after owning a Vega. Have never looked at a GM product since. I'm sure they're much improved from the '70's or they would not be in business, even if barely, 35 yrs. later.

Are you perhaps confusing GM with GE?

Did you mean the other “General” GE?
