As Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin settles back into her job as the state's chief executive, a new ethics complaint filed Tuesday after her interview with Fox News' Greta Van Susteren says Palin already is improperly mixing her official duties and broader political ambitions.
By Kyle Hopkins Anchorage Daily News ANCHORAGE She's a national political figure and one of the world's most famous people. She's also governor of Alaska.
As Sarah Palin settles back into her job as the state's chief executive, a new ethics complaint filed Tuesday says she's already improperly mixing her official duties and broader political ambitions.
The charge: Palin broke state ethics rules by holding national television interviews about her run for vice president from the governor's office.
The complaint comes as Palin's personal life, her prospects as a future presidential candidate and everything she says and does continues to draw headlines.

This is key. I am baffled by why anyone would vote for anyone as bad as the P-E, but if you talk to them you realize how incredibly stupid and unread and utterly unthinking his people in general are.
They are susceptible to any kind of propaganda, and incapable of analyzing it and rejecting it.
The GOP should start a PR campaign that starts from the absolute ground up. Teach people what freedom is, what the Constitution is, how freedom erodes if not supported by an educated, thinking, active electorate.
The Gipper did this, TR did this, Washington did this. All good presidents did this. All good professions, institutions, schools, teachers, etc. do this.
Ongoing education from the ground up.
Notice how the above POTUSES have a bunch of memorable quotes immediately associated with them... whereas Clinton, after eight years in office, has none. We need to teach conservatism to people in the same way.
I saw the floating turds on MSNBC jubilating about this, and thought it might actually be something until I read that it’s just a complaint from some disgruntled nut who’s a known troublemaker.
Most solid citizens would be pleased if their state, through their governor, was getting some, usually coveted, publicity.
We might have to end up going Wilhelm Tell on them... ;-)
The Obama media basically ran a two month negative campaign commercial on Palin and to a lesser extent McCain.
They proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that negative campaigning works.
I watched a Youtube video where they were interviewing Obama voters after the fact. They didn't know who Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid were, they had no idea about any of Obama's political history or utterances, but they darn well knew that Palin's daughter was pregnant, that she had $150,000 worth of campaign clothes and that she could "see Russia from her house".
Isn’t this harrasment? Can’t she sue for this?
bttt
Until the GOP stops bringing only knives to a gun fight they will keep on losing.
Meanwhile, the 143-day wonder marches on to the White House.
Oh, and while we’re on the subject, everything she says is hereby classified as Hate Speech. And the Fairness Doctrine means all of us have to shut up.
