Minneapolis Police arrested four adults and one 16 year-old boy Tuesday night who they believe are responsible for the rash of armed robberies near the University of Minnesota campus.
The crimes led police to issue a crime alert on Monday, warning students about the incidents. Police said the suspects would rob female victims at gunpoint of their purses.
The latest robbery occurred Tuesday shortly before 11 p.m. at 15th Avenue Southeast and Brook Avenue Southeast.
Police said the victim, 21-year-old Kelsey Jaeger, was able to read the license plate number. Within two hours, authorities arrested Mohamud Mohamud, 19; Abshir Asse, 18; Waiys Abdullahi, 19; Salad Sahal, 22, and a 16 year-old male.
The five men are being held on suspicion of felony robbery of a person.
Officials said Abdullahi had a warrant for his arrested related to a separate misdemeanor crime.
They KNOW that students and employees are forbidden to carry.
As if a bunch of liberal knot-heads would think to protect themselves. The government will keep them safe.

The home-grown criminal element, with which LE could deal without having to consider charges of racism, weren’t “exotic” enough. We needed to import criminals, for the sake of “diversity”. I bet it feels like the same old robbery to the victims. How is it that we get all the worst of these diverse cultures, and not so much of the good? (Maybe they don’t have too much good to offer, that’s why they came here to leech off western culture?)

Heck, give these poor yutes a job at MPLS/SP airport. Almost every vender and 75% of the TSA agents are Somali. It’s a real comfort flying out of there.
