I’m thinking more and more that SP is going to wait until 2016 before running for POTUS and let the Huckster, Romney and Newt fight it out in ‘12. If she decides to run in ‘12, there really would be no point in running for re-election b/c she would have to start her prez campaign the moment she gets sworn in.

Further, 0bama’s mistakes will be attributed to his inexperience; so the public might be disinclined to start afresh with another person of limited experience. As Rush says, the media has made 0bama too big to fail.

If Sarah waits until ‘16 she will in all likelihood not be facing an incumbant veep and have two full years to campaign from a base outside AK. In the meantime, SP can network and raise funds like fiend for other GOPers.

Huckabee has no chance to be the nominee in 2012. None.

Huck took advantage of being the only one in the race saying whatever socons wanted to hear. sarah’s presence removes need for him as she’s more paltable on other issues where he only had the one. His time came and went.

Remember Nancy Reagan and Just Say NO. I now think it should now be used to Just Say NO to anyone who ran in the Republican Primary in 2008. Have had enough of them to last for a long time.

We need energetic candidates to run in 2012 that we don’t have to ask if they are conservative.

Sometimes I wish he’d just shut the Huck up.

“She didn’t have to get bloodied like us

Huckabee: The moment Palin was announced as McCain's VP, the Left (and the Rockefeller Right) went after her with a vengeance. The fact that she didn't go through the primaries is irrelevant. She wasn't a declared presidential candidate.

The Huckster is okay as a game show host. I just don’t want him in government.

First, Mike, if God had really meant for you to be a President, certainly a Republican president, He would almost certainly not have set you down in Hope, Arkansas, nine years after Bubba. Bubba has tainted that particular well for the foreseeable future. What with is probably better left unsaid.

Second...let’s be honest. You want no part of what Sarah Palin went through on this campaign. Nor do any of your rivals from the primary. If any of you does, you need to get out of politics and join the cast of “Jackass”.

Sarah didn't get bloodied "on that stage", Mike.

NO! When they couldn't attack her record as Governor, the MSM and liberal talk shows bloodied her daily concerning her dear baby Trig, her pregnant Daughter and her own Mothering skills.

And she isn't whining about it like a little girl either.

Huck and all the wannabe Presidents see their chances dimming because of Sarah. She connects with people and they connect with her. She's strong, smart and has a spine which none of them have.

Big time sour grapes; plus his Fox show stinks.

He's fine to watch on his show...he's funny and quick-witted...and, I think the Fair Tax is something to REALLY look at...

HOWEVER...I just can't shake my gut feeling that I don't want him in a position of power.

I wonder how many people Huckabee could attract to a rally. In Georgia the other day he spoke at a Fair Tax event that had 2000 people, but I don’t think they were there to see him. If Sarah Palin campaigns for Chambliss in Georgia, she’ll draw large, maybe even huge crowds.

I think that is what makes him jelous, too, people actually like Sarah Palin, and respond favorably to her.

Gee, wouldn’t a McCain-Huckabee ticket have been a killer! Just think of the dozens and even hundreds of people who would have attended the rallies.

Of course the odds the media will assign him to us (as they did this time with McCain) are very high.

“What John McCain did for her was to give her the capacity to sort of leapfrog over the process and get right to the center stage,” he said

Wow! Like that's never happened with a VP nominee before.
