I just checked, and Vigo County, IN voted for Obama, meaning that it has voted for the winning presidential candidate the past 14 elections and in 24 of the past 25 elections (the only time it didn’t since it voted for Bryan in 1908 was when it gave Adlai Stevenson a 35-vote margin in 1952).
Missouri (to its credit) did not vote for Obama, so it has “only” voted for the winner in 25 of the past 27 presidential elections.
Right, Terre Haute wasn’t “off” but Missouri was.
Don’t know what to make of that.
