BOSTON – A Massachusetts state senator, photographed by the FBI allegedly stuffing bribe money under her sweater, has been indicted on eight counts of attempted extortion.
Prosecutors filed a criminal complaint in October alleging Sen. Dianne Wilkerson accepted cash payments between June 2007 and October 2008. The formal grand jury indictment was handed down Tuesday.
The indictment also seeks the forfeiture of the more than $23,500 in payments allegedly made to the Boston Democrat by undercover agents and a cooperating witness during the 18-month investigation.
If convicted, Wilkerson faces up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine on each of the eight charges.
Wilkerson, who is free on a $50,000 unsecured bond, has said there is "more to this story."

I would like to see an annual total showing the number of dems and number of reps that have been caught in illegal activities.
well if she resigned she must be a repub....no dem would resign especially in massachusetts....

She’s a rat alright and she was caught stuffing the money in her bra weeks ago yet refused to resign.

That is just Step One.
Step Two is a VERY public trial.
Step Three is hard time in jail.
She cried racism many times in her career. She screwed over the very people who needed her most.
Her last felony (tax evasion I think) got her an ankle bracelet. Prison should be a no brainer this time but she is a Masshole Dem.

The “more to the story” that she is referring to is that she may be able to finger some bigger Massachusetts crooks. Go figure!
Perhaps a special refrigerator should be constructed, with a leghole in its door, that she can be chained to.
