HEY! Dogs are GREAT! Ever try to take a cat swimming with ya in a lake? Seen any cats sticking their heads out of car windows? Ever seen a cat scare off a bad guy?
The very best cat we ever had around was convinced that he was a Doberman. Never saw a coyote within a mile of our house until a month after he finally died. (Age 14 or so, and still kicking all of the other toms around like sofa pillows)
The worst dog acted like she was a Siamese. Ate, slept, pooped on the ground and didn’t like anything including her own sweet self. Finally walked out in the road in front of a truck one morning (expecting it to recognize the passage of royalty no doubt) and not even the youngest grandkids were affected to the point that they even mentioned their usual and customary pet burial rites.
