as I respect yours. The question is ...
what is the standard? Is man the arbitrator of this standard? What is truth?

No disrespect intended ... is time spent reading the Bible? Ever?

Hebrews 4:12 NSSB
“ The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

To those that ask God to reveal understanding as they read His scriptures (His - story), in sincerity and not in ridicule ... it is an amazing journey.

One of the tenets of AA is to not prejudge ... what we have not investigated. Of course there has been perversion done in the name of the church.

Come to the Word of God with a spirit willing to consider His truth.

A closed heart and a closed mind is bound and blinded by this world. The flesh is what rules most of the world.

Consider ... without Christ there is no hope. We are to be a seeker of truth. ???

What if the Bible is true and unbelievers are lost? Have the consequences been considered?

God is good. We choose the path we walk.

Is it not Christian principles with which America has operated?

We are blessed to be a blessing to others.

Again well said. I recall the drive-bys wringing their hands after Kerry lost, and they determined it was the “evangelical” vote that sunk him.
