“That is a bizarre way ‘to bring us together’”
I will never sacrifice my conservative views and principles on the altar of “coming together.” That’s nothing more than a euphemism for “everyone drink the kool-aid.”
This was hardly an issue in the campaign. O voters didn’t want to know the truth. Even some who are pro choice should be repelled by this. And to those who are pro life and knowingly voted for O anyway, then all those abortions will be on their hands.
Despite his pro life position, Hentoff had previously said he was voting for Obama too, because he respected Biden’s support of civil liberties! Pretty flimsy excuse. I thought in this piece Hentoff would say he regretted his decision but he does not. So what exactly is his point??
