Brazile: Ambitious Palin focuses on future -- hers--[Donna graciously warns GOP -:)]
State Journal Register ^ | 11-19-08 | Brazile

“The past is the past,” Gov. Sarah Palin declared at her first and only official press conference of the 2008 presidential campaign season, which, oddly enough, was held after the election. “It’s behind us.”

Is it?

Palin is in front of the media more now that the campaign has ended than she ever was as a candidate. Palin, who it seems criticizes the media for her woes every time she moves her lips, is now providing as much fodder as possible to the McCain campaign staff she claims treated her badly.

While Republican Govs. Haley Barbour of Mississippi, Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota sat down last week at the Republican Governors’ Association (RGA) annual meeting to evaluate what went wrong in 2008, Palin was on a different mission: how to set things right for herself in 2012.

Before headlining an RGA panel discussion titled “Looking Toward the Future,” Palin held a much-touted press conference in which she answered a grand total of three questions. The Alaskan governor is certainly looking toward the future — hers.

Palin is hoping to create a bright future that includes an even more prestigious title than vice president. She started paving her way to the Oval Office before her running mate had even ended his concession speech. Having been denied the chance to deliver her own concession speech/2012 declaration announcement at that event, she had to wait a day or two to make her ambitions abundantly clear.

Strange comfort when Brazille and Parker are on the same page, giving advice on how the GOP can avoid doom. Makes me more confident that going in the opposite direction is the ticket. -:)

It’s like an AP article written by Lara Lakes Jordan or John Whitesides...or a Gwen Ifill show...

How much Lib drivel can one take...?

"Palin, who it seems criticizes the media for her woes every time she moves her lips,"

Gee, I wonder why... could it be because they attack her every time they touch a keyboard?

Unreal! Well, we can be certain of one thing. The take by the media, & so-called right wingers, as well, is to take out Palin early! I thought so, and they are doing nothing that makes one think anything different. Wonder which other candidates are involved in this, as well? under the radar, of course.

Today in Dallas in a speech before the Heritage Foundation. Karl Rove defended her, wondering why Republicans are trying to tear her down when they should be open to all contenders. The choice ought to be which of the contestants helps the Republican more between now and 1912. The debates right now are pretty sterile.

Who’d pay any attention to Brazile giving advice? They are all scared s***less of Palin and would go to any length to keep her down.

Brazile and Carville labeled Palin on CNN within minutes of her being announced as McCain’s running mate as not experienced or unqualfied and were so “down” and “upset” with McCain they were rude on CNN. Unfortunately, it is a label that Palin couldn’t shake in the media. I would have to say it was planned like they knew it was coming. Whether Palin is the 2012 nominee or not, I would be all over the place talking, writing, being on TV or whatever. Even if she is not the nominee, she is young and has a future so of course she has to speak up and out or she will have no career future. No one has a crystal ball to know if she will be the nominee in 2012 or not. It is too soon. Brazile started the crap on Palin publicly. I agree I think they are worried about her. They know sexism will again come up and the first major women contenders will most likely come from the Republican party now that Hillary has been taken out of the equation. Sexism is a weakness in the Democratic party. What bothers me the most though about the media and everyone carrying on about how Palin is pretty or cute which she is, you don’t see them discussing the sexuality of Emperor Barry in a negative like but only in a postive light. He ever was something with GQ and all of the unmarried women voted for him. So essentially it is like we are saying that our women politicans have to be old and ugly while our men can be sexy and cute. It is a horrible double standard. Gender is even more basic than race since every race has the same genders. But it is an issue that we have yet to address and should since it is a basic issue for over half of the population.

I can’t type this morning and mistyped a few words and let out a phrase from my last post just a few seconds ago. I wish there was an edit feature on posting. Maybe there is but I am still a newbie and still trying to figure out how people do the picture thing on here. If there is an edit or a picture thing, someone privately instruct me. Thank you.

Listen to the whiny, Socialist rhetoric: “who it seems criticizes the media for her woes every time she moves her lips,”

They are proving true what she is saying.

They never called her “Governor”, either - just “Sarah”, while calling that blatheringt, empty skin “Senator”. They let their lies about her stand long enough to elect their Charlie McCarthy dummy, then let the truth out. Shady deceivers, those Demonrats. The guiltiest parties are the evening TV news and the morning papers.

This type of thing happens all the time with losing VP candidates. Remember all that time and money spent by Republican operatives to make sure John Edwards never got to run again after 2004.

Sarah Palin has already served her purpose, she has given a fire to the conservatives.

Hopefully, this will cap and seal off the future of any more incompetent RINOS.

Palin is not needed.
