They will NOT F with him right now. They want the 60. If they make it tough for him I think he switches.
I, for one, am willing to guarantee that I will donate $1000.00 to Liby if he switches, who will follow here?

What happens to Lieberman if he switches his (D) to an (R)?Lieberman is an independent, but votes with the Senate dem caucus, except on matters of war. He retained his seniority. He's chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, and some others, maybe Agriculture, IIRC. Check the link at the beginning of the story. They might strip him of those positions.
