If both the ice caps melted entirely, the oceans wouldn’t rise 200 feet......Perhaps they think it might rain for 40 days and 40 nights........again......

I need about another 40 ft. to make my house waterfront property...

The leftist media (yes, I know, that's a redundant phrase) is allergic to rigorous thought whether in science, philosophy, or psychology. They are sloppy, emotional mental primitives. They have the intellectual discipline of a puppy and the emotional maturity of a 1 year old infant.
Countdown to the first time one sad member of the media herd does a parrot magnification of this story and announces a 2000 ft. rise in the oceans if we don't immediately replace our incandescent light bulbs with fluorescents.

And they hyped this tripe on Sunday night football, too. It was ridiculous.

I agree completely. I was over at my mom’s house, watching the game.
The halftime show was ridiculous. I asked my mom “What the hell does going green have to do with Sunday Night football?” Truth be told, I doubt 2/3rds of those watching could have cared less about going green.
Meredith Viera’s assertion that the oceans will rise 200 feet (if the glaciers melt) is nothing but hooey. It’s infuriating actually.

I’d have ocean-front property! Cool!

Good, It will get rid of all those liberal hellholes on the coasts.

Meredith Vieras assertion that the oceans will rise 200 feet (if the glaciers melt) is nothing but hooey. Its infuriating actually. The first part of that segment was her sounding the alarm that they're running out of fresh water in Australia, ane the virus would spread unless she did something about it.
Then she said the glaciers would melt, and I thought, "Problem solved!"
Just build a double pipeline through Alaska, one for water, one for oil, and we're in fat city.
