No, you are only emotionally ready. We have no strategy, no tactics ready, no leadership or funding structure. We have to find a way to get the head of the snake to eat its own tail.
Work for state legislatures; 2010 is a census year, and redistricting comes soon after.
Don’t let the Republicans run any closet socialists in your area.

Wow. that's amazing. You gleaned my entire intent from two words. NOT.

Since you're so anxious to issue orders to people, I believe I'll issue a couple to you.

Learn how to approach people respectfully so that they will work with you. That is a very important leadership skill.

Don't come out of the gate acting argumentative or try to be aggressive. People will dismiss you as insecure and inept and you won't be able to contribute anything of value. First impressions are very important.

Learn not to issue orders to people. You have not earned that right and all you do is turn people off. It is not intimidating. You just think it is and it diminishes you.

I come from a very red state and I will work for the cause of my choosing.

Don’t let the Republicans run any closet socialists in your area.

LOL - you clearly don't know what my "area" is.

A study I have never undertaken. Do the states’ legislatures generally tend to be more conservative than the US Congress?

I have always cc’d my letters to Congress to members of our state's legislature, and to many county officials as well.

I do believe that we need to pay more attention to our state legislators, and insist that they communicate the will of the states more directly to our federal senators.

We damaged “republicanism” and federalism seriously by amending the federal constitution to allow for the direct popular election of federal senators. This allows the US Senate to be en elitist “House of Lords.” Letters I receive from my federal senators are always, I mean ALWAYS elitist responses.

This is why I always send copies to my state legislators and remind them that the US Senate no longer represents the States’ peoples. Their agenda, even under Republican Party influence is pro-nationalism and anti-federalism. The Tenth Amendment is toilet paper to the US Senate.

My local Republican party seems hell-bent on doing just that...

In the "non-partisan" local races they always endorse the most squishy, gutless RINOs over conservatives, and when they are confronted about it, they just drool a little, then mumble something about their endorsements being in the interest of "party unity."

Not gonna happen....

here in Miami, we have 610 WIOD...they have in this order: Jimmy Cefalo (conservative), Glenn Beck, Rush, Schnitt (conservative) Hannity, Mark Levin.

BUT they do an update every hour on the hour for local news, weather, sports, etc...

I think that would comply..and thus force Obama to not pull a “present vote” style of move.

he would actually have to propose to limit the 1st amendment. So he will have to announce himself as a stalinist.

Good points Steve. Please pass any tips along as you see fit.

Hispanics harboring/supporting illegals are coached to tell census takers that there are many more in the household than there actually are. They are coached to deliberately inflate the numbers for purpose of redistricting and for budget earmarks.

I know this from firsthand experience during my time in California.

Problem is census is not an issue that most people take seriously. Census fraud is just as real (if not more) as vote fraud.

We need Gingrich and Delay running business in the RNC. So we do have leaders. Funds are a big problem though.

Dems and their appendages such as ACORN use taxpayer money (hundreds of millions). Repubs use corporation, business and individual monies. I don’t know that dems can be stopped from using taxpayer money to fund their political operatives, not now at least.

Going to have to rely on grassroots and gorilla tactics, but I am not well versed on either.
