I apologize if what I wrote somehow led you to believe that some bizarre circumstance in Alaska allowed a foreign country to tax a resource from one of these United States. We only tax ourselves.

The ref to Hugo was to indicate how high the tax rate has become. And with much of that Alaskan oil refined in CA, you pay 100% of that tax, so from all of us to all of you - thanks!
