I was checking out hubbys collection of rifles today ( most all WW1 and WW2 weaponry) and decided they were a bit to much for me. Tomorrow I get my very own. He is buying me an AR15 for our anniversary.
Odd spot I find myself in to be happy/relieved about such an anniversary gift.

Get some extra magazines while they are still cheap.
Last time they were banned they were selling for $100 a pop!

Ask hubby to pick up a few extra magazines while he is shopping. Take a look at some rifle scopes when you shop, one of those can definitely improve the longer shots.
Congratulations on the anniversary of your wedding. May you enjoy many more!

Recently got a Rock River Arms AR-15 and had fun with it yesterday. With an EOTek long scope on it I was able to hit a bulls-eye at 100 yards. I highly recommend the RRA. There's a website where you can buy plastic mags for it at a good price, that won't dent if dropped--I'd have to dig the site up. What a strange way to say "Happy Anniversary," huh, AirForceMom? :-/ These are strange times.

I hope they can build you one before obama closes the factory. Backorders are running 2-3 months now.
