He’s not the first Marxist President. He’s the second fascist President.

His relationships are mostly marxist, IMO.
Yeah, but the whole world, even the French, loves us again! Isn’t that special. I’m suffocating from all the “warm fuzzies” I’m getting. Unicorns, rainbows, butterflies and teddy bears are everywhere!
It is a myth that HUSSEIN Obama “flipped” anyone. What he did do was send out his massive FRAUD machine to put him over the top in close states. Anyone who went 3rd party only helped Obama’s (America’s first ILLEGITIMATE president) theft of the election.
Vote for the MOST CONSERVATIVE in the primary and accept the nominee in the general. Anything else, such as 3rd party voters, only end up with the same results as McLame and is nothing more than a pathway to CONSESSION SPEECHES.
What can I say? He’s correct. The GOP leadership isn’t interested in advancing conservatism, they are only interested in holding on to their personal power. And if it looks like it’s the “other side’s turn” to govern, that means sucking up and making nice with them, so as to not be sent to Coventry. It’s the other side, the socialists, which have the “true believers” in leadership.
Third, actually. Everybody always forgets about Woodrow Wilson.
The flipside of that should be kudos to the MSM for America’s first Marxist president.
He flipped many RINOs
I know people that consider themselves Republicans who voted Obama soley b/c of the fact that their mutual funds and 401k’s were decimated in Sept/Oct. They did not care about any of his scary associations or policies. Unbelievable really.
oops had more.. That confirms to me that this “crisis” was perfectly planned by Paulson and maybe Soros behind the scenes.
No argument here. The GOP nominated the anti GOPer. What the hell did they think would happen.
I wonder how many here actually believed the pathetic McCain had a chance.
If people had been paying attention, they would have seen their 401Ks bleeding badly for a long time before this “crisis”.
Palin’s skirt wasn’t big enough for McCain to hide behind. She should be commended for all the weight she shouldered in that campaign.
It's all about the Ice Cream ......
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade in 2000. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.
To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother. The day arrived when they were to make their speeches Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Everyone applauded.
He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise. She said, If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream. She sat down. The class went wild. Yes! Yes! We want ice cream.
She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it? She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a land slide.
Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, and fifty percent of America reacts like nine-year-olds. They want ice cream. The other fifty percent know they're going to have to feed the cow.
God help us all.
Can’t argue with this - Bush was a do-nothing president in his lame duck term, the GOP has yet to figure out what happened in ‘06 or why voters turned to the Dems. In addition, the GOP has failed to make any move to suggest that they are swinging back to their conservative roots and continue to indicate that they are in disarray.
McCain, as the GOP nominee, ran a mediocre campaign that never energized the base until he selected Palin as his VP nominee. Once he selected his “pit bull with lipstick”, he put a muzzle on her and never really turned her loose.
So, yes, the GOP IS responsible for Obama being elected. They never took the fight to Obama and remained on the ropes the whole time. Frankly, I’m fed up with the country club Republicans. We need some new blood, new ideas and rock solid Reagan conservatives to shake the party up, bring in new blood, and, particularly, convince minorities that the conservative party is their best friend, NOT the “do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do” Dems. The GOP needs to shed its country club image and attract younger conservatives with ideas and actions.
