That article's assumptive and convoluted - reaching for bizarre extremes to make its point.

The most important argument the author fails to mention is that the internet reached the point it's at now by remaining almost entirely net-neutral.

Can you really say that it has been net-neutral? ISP’s have been filtering or degrading different types of P2P traffic for a while now.
