McCain deserves all the criticism over how he dealt with this economic problem.

Lets say he did the right thing and rushed off to fix things.

Pelosi and a few other democrats went on vacation that week they had no intention in passing a bill. McCain could only lead the minority party the democrats would NEVER have helped him fix the issue at that time. It would be like the democrats handing McCain the presidency they wouldn’t even consider it.

On top of that Obama handed it perfectly in my opinion by just keeping a low profile when it came to a very unpopular bailout. It didn’t matter during an election if it was the right thing to do but to go there and lead the extremely unpopular bailout was just stupid during an election.

McCain was an idiot for thinking the democrats would help and not understanding that his image would be destroyed if he got a bill passed or not it was a win win for democrats.
